RBC Convention Centre

375 York Avenue

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Event Overview

Join Kids Help Phone on Friday, October 13 for our most important meal of the year in Winnipeg — the Being There for Kids Breakfast presented by RBC.

Don’t miss this opportunity to show your support for youth mental health and well-being while enjoying a delicious breakfast and inspiring stories of resilience.

Keynote speaker Kieran B. Drachenberg will share his experience as a transgender Métis youth living in Iqaluit, Nunavut. A former service user of Kids Help Phone, Kieran will speak about his personal experiences and challenges. Kieran will also speak about the struggles that young people face in rural and remote settings — particularly in accessing mental health resources.

Join us and learn more about how Kids Help Phone is there for young people in any moment of crisis or need. Be amongst the first to learn about a new Kids Help Phone service that will be launched in Manitoba — a service that will provide young people with greater access to immediate, one-on-one support.
