In 1992, Kids Help Phone opened our first of two offices in Atlantic Canada. Here in Newfoundland and Labrador, we raise awareness of our service among youth and engage the community to support young people across the province.
We’re proud to be available to young people in Newfoundland and Labrador for any issue — big or small.
Through Finding Hope: Kids Help Phone’s Action Plan for Supporting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Young People, we’re affirming our commitment to Indigenous youth in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunatsiavut and across the country.

City Tire Blues Minor Hockey Team | Newfoundland and Labrador
Congratulations to the City Tire Blues Minor Hockey Team on becoming Regional Finalists for this year’s Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup! The City Tire Blues selected Kids Help Phone as their charity of choice for the competition, and thanks to their hard work, a donation was made! A huge thanks to the Mount Pearl Blades Minor Hockey Association for their matching donation!
Connie Carver Memorial Award | Newfoundland and Labrador
The Connie Carver Award was established by the Carver family in memory of their beloved daughter and sister, Connie. The award has been presented every year since 1975 to two students in Grade 7 who best exemplify the qualities Connie had while attending Macdonald Drive Junior High School (cooperation, school spirit and kindness). Each student receiving an award is given $1,500, with $750 to be retained and the other $750 going to Kids Help Phone.
