There’s much to do to reach and support young people and their communities while shifting the discussion of mental health in Canada. As Vice President of Brand and Strategic Communications, Sheryl Johnson and the team will lead the brand charge to support Kids Help Phone in achieving our goals.

Sheryl proudly brings 25+ years of business knowledge, agency experience and personal passion to Kids Help Phone. Connecting brands to people and people to brands is Sheryl’s passion, rooted in her strong expertise in research, insights, strategy, execution and measurement. She’s known for rebuilding brands by turning data into insights and using those insights to action strategies for short- and long-term growth. Sheryl has helped to build the equity, revenue and profit for a mix of global brands as a senior executive with Fortune 500 companies including Kraft, Kellogg’s, Intuit and Manulife.

Civic duty is in Sheryl’s DNA. A proud and long-term volunteer with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, Sheryl and her dog Myca give comfort and support to those in women’s shelters, long-term care facilities and high school settings. She enjoys global travel (17 countries so far and counting!) and indulges herself creatively through photography. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Sheryl has successfully conquered a fear of heights, open water and even creepy crawlies!
