Access to mental health services remains a significant challenge for many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis youth living in rural and remote communities. One of the key barriers is a lack of awareness about available support.
New Trails is an Indigenous Outreach Program developed under the leadership of the Kids Help Phone Indigenous Advisory Council. The program helps increase visibility of Kids Help Phone’s 24/7, free, and confidential e-mental health services by installing vinyl wall murals, road signs, arena boards, and billboards in Indigenous communities.
This opportunity is exclusively available to Indigenous organizations and communities. While funding is available, one sign per community will be provided to help raise awareness and connect youth to support.
