As one of the founding donors to the texting service, Canada Life has been supporting Kids Help Phone for more than three decades.

In 2023, Canada Life’s donation to the Feel Out Loud movement brings their total gift to the campaign to $1 million.

With support from this generous gift, more young people can access the texting service — 24/7, free, bilingual and confidential – with users in greatest distress always being the highest priority. Kids Help Phone will expand its national network of crisis responders and continue innovating the service to better support young people.

Thanks to Canada Life, young people will continue to receive the support they need, when they need it the most, by texting CONNECT to 686868 to chat with a crisis responder. The service is easily accessible to all young people – no data plan or internet connection is required.

This generous donation will make a lasting impact on the well-being and mental health of the younger generation for many years to come. Kids Help Phone is incredibly grateful to Canada Life for its generosity, leadership and for ensuring that young people in every corner of Canada can Feel Out Loud. Thank You!

Canada Life has been committed to supporting the work of Kids Help Phone for more than 30 years. As a founding and ongoing donor to the texting service, we continue to ensure that young people can access 24/7, free, bilingual e-mental health support. Together with Kids Help Phone, we are working towards a future where every young person knows that help is always available – that someone is always there to support them with any issue they are facing.
