We love to connect with people who’ve contacted Kids Help Phone (KHP), but it’s not a requirement to submit your story. We welcome stories from people who:
- Are 18 or older
- Want to share a personal mental health / wellness experience in support of youth
We’re interested in real experiences and honest reflections about anything you’ve navigated and think could help young people. You might write about:
- What you were experiencing
- How you felt
- What helped (including support from KHP!)
- What you learned
- What you wish you’d known at the time
Your story could help:
- A young person learn about where they can go with their feelings, questions and concerns
- Recognize the supports that’ve made a difference in your life
- Reduce stigma and encourage open conversations
- Lower barriers to support for equity-deserving communities
- Inspire people to support youth and their mental health
