You can ensure no young person feels alone during COVID-19

Kids Help Phone is on a mission to ensure our young people are never alone as we all face an unprecedented global crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each and every young person across Canada needs your help more than ever. Although we’re far apart physically, our young people must feel help is close.

Because Kids Help Phone is an e-mental health service, we can remain open for young people across Canada 24/7 without any face-to-face contact. Kids, teens and young adults can still reach us any time — day or night — and from wherever they are. We’re receiving lots of questions from youth about the novel coronavirus and what it means for them. We’ll continue to support youth mental health and well-being during the pandemic. But no one can do this alone. We need you to keep the lines open 24/7 and let our kids know we’re here!

Here’s how you can help:

1. Make a donation to youth mental health and well-being

Now more than ever, youth need you to give them a lifeline of help and hope! All donations can be made online, over the phone or by mail without leaving the comfort of your home.

2. Sign up to become a volunteer Crisis Responder

Crisis Responders for Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone are trained and volunteer remotely, so you can support young people while practising social distancing.

For over 30 years, our lines have always been open so young people are never alone — that must continue now that we’re facing this crisis. We were made for this, and now more than ever, the young people of Canada need you. We must never leave them. We must keep them close. Together, we can promise them they’ll never go through this alone.
