As Canada’s second largest motion picture theatre exhibition company, Landmark Cinemas is deeply connected to the people it serves — including the countless young people who have benefitted from its long-time support of Kids Help Phone.

With the majority of Landmark’s cast and crew being young people themselves, investing in a stronger and more effective landscape for youth mental health is a critical part of the company’s commitment to its team and movie lovers alike.

Landmark has been a dedicated partner of Kids Help Phone since 2006, contributing a total of over $2.2 million in support of a wide variety of needs and initiatives. The company has served as a National Sponsor of the BMO Walk So Kids Can Talk event for seven years, helping to raise millions of dollars and rallying people in communities across Canada to get involved. Landmark also played a crucial role in amplifying Kids Help Phone’s Feel Out Loud movement through an in-kind gift of pre-show media in theatres as well as digital support — an extraordinary gift valued over $1 million.

The company’s impact is felt far and wide. In addition to fuelling the growth and success of our full ecosystem of e-mental health services, Landmark’s support has empowered Kids Help Phone to reach more young people in underserved communities across Canada, deepen our focus on becoming a truly barrier-free service and meet young people where they’re at in their digital world through the power of data and technology.

To the entire team at Landmark Cinemas, thank you for your transformational investments and many years of friendship. We are incredibly grateful to have you by our side as we work together to unlock hope for young people from coast to coast to coast.

As a company that interacts with young people every single day, we know that nothing is more important than investing in their well-being and success. When young people feel supported and empowered, we all benefit — and the ripple effect lasts for generations. We’re proud and honoured to be able to make a difference for the young people of Canada through our support of Kids Help Phone.
