Champions and Ambassadors are an essential part of Kids Help Phone. They connect us directly with Indigenous youth in their communities and help guide our programs and services. Because they’re so familiar with their communities, they can also help build awareness of the services that best meet its needs.
Eligibility:
Indigenous people and settlers, 12 years and older, with strong connections to an Indigenous community or urban centre
Responsibilities:
connect Kids Help Phone with community resources
promote Kids Help Phone’s programs, services and resources
provide input on Kids Help Phone’s programs, services and outreach as required, via online polls
connect with Kids Help Phone in times of community crisis for urgent support

Indigenous people and settlers, 16 years and older, with strong connections to an Indigenous community or urban centre
Responsibilities:
connect Kids Help Phone with community resources
promote Kids Help Phone’s programs, services and resources
provide input on Kids Help Phone’s programs, services and outreach as required, via online polls
connect with Kids Help Phone in times of community crisis for urgent support
participate in information booths at events
act as a media representative (18 years and older)
give community presentations
