I came across a reel when I was scrolling on Instagram,
They leave traces these things,
Leave us pondering upon things;
When we allow ourselves to.
She said I wish there was a more intense way to express emotions,
Crying is not enough.
She wished we bust into flames,
At the intensity of what we feel.
And yes that paints a great picture,
Not so different from what we see in fantasy dramas, movies or anime
But did we stop to consider,
Why crying seems to not be enough?
Perhaps remember,
how we are told that crying is for the weak?
I don’t agree though,
A heart that bleeds is a heart that lives.
The emotions that brew inside of me,
are but proof of being alive.
The pain I feel,
The joy I feel,
It all couldn’t be more real.
A heart that feels is proof of sanity maintained.
