I leapt into the moonlit meadows of the night
And wept as I danced among the blades
Each one that met my cold touch
Somehow left me worn and frayed
Tears of dew
Glistened against my skin so bright
The sight of shrivelled leaves
Shown in a pale moonlight
My dandelion; to my dismay
She grew inside of me that day
