People can be SO mean sometimes. They find anything to make fun of; race, religion, beliefs, gender, and anything else. It honestly makes me wonder; why? People say “they just dont get it” or, “they are just like that”. But, truly, anybody can learn. It really gets on my nerves when people act like its nothing when others are mean. Sometimes people find me annoying for ruining their jokes, but I dont really mind it. Every person that stands up for others makes a difference, and if the right peron is in that room, they will know that you are a safe space. I hope that eventually all people take the initiative to learn how to be inclusive, and understand important things what we often dont give a second though. It might be hard, people you know could be very exclusive and against the idea of you wanting to learn. I hope that you do what is right amyway. To you, your family, friends or anybody else, it might not make a difference, but sometimes knowing what to say in an uncomfortable situation (etc) can make all the difference. I hope that this inspired you to think before you speak, and inform yourself on sensitive subjects. Thank you!
