Sometimes I feel like a dot of ink
on a page that wasn’t written for me.
My name mispronounced,
my faith misunderstood,
my silence mistaken for smallness.
I carry prayers in my chest
through spaces that don’t always see them.
It’s lonely, yes
but it’s also brave.
Because even when I feel lost,
I am still rooted.
Still Muslim.
Still whole.
Still finding my way,
one step, one dua, one breath at a time.
